[MarriageFirstLoveLater] Chapter 33.1 — Unforgettable

At that moment, Jian Hang wanted to control her pounding heartbeat but couldn’t.

Almost instinctively, she tightened her arms around his neck and stood slightly on her toes.

There was a photographer, a photographer’s assistant, and two bodyguards around them. Qin Moling couldn’t help but kiss Jian Hang as if no one else was there, staying flush against her lips for a few seconds.

It was a light kiss, but the sensory experience was as intense as if they shared a deep, passionate kiss.

… …

The photographer had been looking at the photos in his camera when he was nudged hard by his assistant, “Quick! Quick!”

By the time the photographer came to his senses, it was already too late to find an angle. He only had time to press the shutter button wildly to capture as many pictures as he could. The kiss between the two lasted for a few seconds, buying him some time.

Watching them kiss made him more nervous and excited than when he kissed his first love.

Finally. This was indeed high reward for all his efforts today.

The kiss ended, and Qin Moling reluctantly left Jian Hang’s lips.

They still maintained their previous positions, with Jian Hang’s arms around his neck and Qin Moling holding her waist, and they did not let each other go.

Neither one revealed the secretive thoughts in their hearts.

It was stamped down for now, but it couldn’t be suppressed for long.

Qin Moling kissed her forehead, “I’m sorry that there was no ceremony before or after we received the marriage certificate.” He only gave her a diamond ring, not even a bouquet of flowers.

That day she was splashed with water by Mrs. Gao, so she must have been in a bad mood.

When they came out of the registration hall, he was already her husband, so he should have gotten her a bouquet of flowers to make her feel better.

But he didn’t even do that.

The next evening, his father-in-law and mother-in-law prepared dinner to celebrate them receiving the marriage certificate, and he did not go because he had some business entertainment scheduled.

He didn’t know what she had felt at that time, and he couldn’t know now.

… …

Jian Hang originally thought that when he said ‘sorry’ just now, he wanted to apologize for kissing her.

Fortunately, it wasn’t that.

If he didn’t have any desire for her at all, then it was foreseeable that her marriage to him would not last long.

Qin Moling asked in a low voice, “Go back to the hotel?”

Jian Hang nodded.

He finally let go of her.

The two of them had stayed close together for several hours; now that they suddenly separated, there was a feeling that something was missing.

After changing out of her diamond-encrusted wedding dress, the two returned to the hotel. Jian Hang walked in front and Qin Moling followed leisurely.

He had originally made plans to treat her to dinner tonight; he thought about things all the way back to the hotel. When he got to the hotel door, he called the restaurant owner and canceled the dinner yet again—but the cost of the meal would still be paid.

Back in their room, Jian Hang went to the refrigerator to get some water.

In fact, she was not thirsty at all.

But it was awkward to just sit there.

All day today, they were holding hands, hugging, and finally kissing. She had no idea what to do now that those were no longer normal behavior between them.

Dinner was brought in, and they had a simple meal.

Neither of them mentioned going out for a night out.

“I’m going to take a shower,” Qin Moling said to Jian Hang. He took off his watch and held it out to her, “Do me a favor.”

He was asking her to help put it away.

Jian Hang was sitting on the sofa looking at her mobile phone, two or three meters away from him.

Qin Moling’s hand holding the watch was hanging in the air, and the other hand was untucking his shirt from his trousers. He undid the buttons casually with a few fingers, looking at Jian Hang the entire time, waiting for her to come over and get the watch.

Jian Hang stood up, stepped closer, and took the watch from his hand.

He told her he was going to take a shower and asked her to help put his watch away; these were all hints to prepare her mentally.

There were some things that would ruin the atmosphere. If she didn’t accept his watch, based on her understanding of Qin Moling, even if the arrow was already on the bow and the string taut, he would respect her intention and would not force her.

Qin Moling went to the bathroom.

Jian Hang took a silk scarf from her bag, folded it twice, spread it flat on the coffee table, and put Qin Moling’s watch on it.

The sound of water running came from the bathroom.

Jian Hang opened her suitcase and took out an ice silk nightgown. It was a sensual shade of haze blue and had a low back.

She had packed this nightgown all the way to the bottom of her suitcase, thinking that she wouldn’t need it during this trip.

When Qin Moling came out of the bathroom, she went straight in with her nightgown and skin care products.

The bathroom was full of water vapor, and it still carried the refreshing smell of the shower gel he had used.

Qin Moling leaned on the balcony guardrail, having a drink, looking back at the room from time to time.

She hadn’t come out of the bathroom yet. After finishing half a glass of red wine, he went to pour another half glass.

There was an extra quilt folded on the sofa. Qin Moling put down his wine glass and put the quilt away in the closet. He took the pillows that had been piled on the sofa, and he put them back on the bed one by one.

In the bathroom, the sound of running water stopped.

After taking a bath, Jian Hang carefully applied skin care, spending a long time on it.

She put on a spritz of perfume, opened the door, and finally went out.

The white quilt was covered with a layer of rose petals; this was used by the hotel to create a romantic atmosphere for the guests.

Jian Hang walked past the bed, stepped off her slippers, and walked to the terrace barefoot.
