[MarriageFirstLoveLater] Chapter 32.3 — Accelerated Heartbeat

Jian Hang pretended to be calm and tilted her head to look at the sea.

The photographer had explained earlier that they could do whatever felt natural, such as the two of them looking at each other and chatting, or admiring the scenery next to them. Just do whatever was comfortable for them to do.

But right now, her mind drew a blank and she couldn’t think of a suitable topic to chat with Qin Moling. This affected her facial expression, and so she simply admired the Aegean Sea under the blue sky and white clouds.

The trail was coming to an end, and they hadn’t exchanged a single word.

Qin Moling looked sideways at the person walking beside him. Today, her hair was put in an upswept style, revealing a smooth nape, long and slender, the skin soft. The waist and back were straight, showing strength in softness.

Sensing Qin Moling looking at her, Jian Hang finally turned to face him.

Qin Moling did not avoid her gaze, “Please cooperate. If the shot is not good, we will have to retake it, which is a waste of time.”

Jian Hang asked, “How do I cooperate?”

Qin Moling didn’t actually know how to cooperate. He just didn’t like it that she had her back turned to him the entire time.

The photographer told them to stop and asked them to return to the starting point and walk along the gravel trail again.

This time, the photographer added some intimate gestures for them to do. He asked Jian Hang to face Qin Moling and walk backwards, holding one of Qin Moling’s hands with both hands.

The photographer was skilled, and he never usually shot such stereotyped scenes, but today’s customers was a couple without any emotional connection, so such directions were necessary.

Jian Hang did as she was told, clasping Qin Moling’s wrist with her left hand and grabbing a few of his fingers with her right hand.

His fingers were long and slender, and the joints were well defined. One could never tire of gazing at them, and now this beautiful hand was in her hands and hers to touch.

At this moment, she and Qin Moling seemed to be like a young couple in love, and she the girlfriend acting coquettishly with her boyfriend.

If they hadn’t been taking pictures and the photographer hadn’t asked her to do so, she would never have been able to behave so coquettishly like this in her life.

Neither Jian Hang nor Qin Moling looked directly at each other. She vaguely glanced at his face and hurriedly looked away before she could even see his eyes clearly.

When they once again reached the middle of the trail, Jian Hang asked the photographer, “Are we done?”

“Not yet, I’ll call out when you need to stop.”

The implication was that they should just keep moving forward unless he told them to stop.

Jian Hang’s palms were sweaty. She was wearing wedding gloves, but they were less than useless.

This pair of gloves had a special design and all the fingers were exposed, so there was no difference between wearing it and not wearing it.

She let go of Qin Moling’s wrist and slightly opened her fingers towards the sea breeze, hoping to dry them as soon as possible.

Qin Moling grabbed her hand and brought it over. He wiped her hand on his sleeve. After wiping it, he held it in his hand again.

Qin Moling made an effort to ease the atmosphere, “Do you know why your hands sweat easily?”

Jian Hang looked at him, “Why?”

“From playing too many games.”

Jian Hang: “…”

He clearly understood her.

She laughed angrily.

“Jian Hang, I’m sorry about the game.” Qin Moling took this opportunity to express his attitude, “You are my wife, and I should satisfy you in all your requests, but I can’t do this one thing. I’m sorry, I’m really not interested in games and I don’t have the time to learn.”

Then came the key point that he actually wanted to say, “I don’t want you to think that I’m being perfunctory with you because of this matter. If you have any requests in the future, you can always ask me.”

Jian Hang didn’t expect that he would be so serious about a small matter, “You don’t need to apologize for this. I won’t misunderstand that you are being perfunctory with me.”

In fact, it was already enough to say this.

But she still added, “If anything happens in the future, I will tell you.”

Unfortunately, there was no love between them.

If they were in a loving relationship, he would probably love her and tolerate her so much—what more could she ask for in a husband?

But even then, as it stood now, it was already pretty good.

He treated her with responsibility, understanding and tolerance.

All their interactions were captured on camera.

The two sets of wedding dresses were photographed for four hours, and the photographer promoted their relationship the entire time. Jian Hang and Qin Moling didn’t have any objections. They seemed to feel that four hours passed in the blink of an eye.

And then finally, there was the final diamond-encrusted wedding dresses. Jian Hang would be photographed wearing it with the sunset as background.

They were supposed to have close-ups of hugs and kisses against the backdrop of the sunset. After a day of interaction, the photographer was confident that he could capture the natural and intimate effect he wanted.

After changing into a diamond-encrusted wedding dress, the stylist changed Jian Hang’s hairstyle yet again.

After taking a short break, they headed to the beach for shooting.

When they arrived at the shooting location, the sunset was just right, so they couldn’t delay.

According to the photographer’s instructions, Qin Moling needed to hold Jian Hang in his arms, lower his head to kiss her, and so capture the artistic concept of a lover’s kiss during sunset.

Like a dedicated director, the photographer personally demonstrated and told the two of them how to move and stand. “Put your hands around his neck, like this.”

When he princess-carried her last night, Jian Hang subconsciously wanted to wrap her arms around his neck, but in the end she had been defeated by reason.

So now, when the photographer asked her to do this, she didn’t have any psychological burden.

Jian Hang put her hands on his shoulders, and Qin Moling tightened his grip on her waist.

She and Qin Moling had never been so ambiguous, and his face was getting closer to hers, inch by inch.

He might make it seem as if he was kissing her, and he might get close enough, but it would be impossible for him to kiss her. Jian Hang thought so in her heart.

And it was just as she thought: Qin Moling didn’t kiss her, but his lips hovered very close to hers.

The photographer couldn’t just push their heads together and make them to kiss. Anyway, Santorini was only their first stop for wedding photos. There were seven more scenic spots lined up in the next few months, so there was no rush to take kissing photos.

The photographer found an angle and photographed them like they were kissing. In fact, when taking pictures, the kiss didn’t necessarily have to be a real kiss. It was the presence or absence that gives the most sense of the picture.

It was only that he wanted to bring the couple together a bit more.

The setting sun fell into the Aegean Sea, and their wedding photoshoot came to an end.

The photographer excitedly captured a shot that was even more stunning than he expected, so he called out and called it a day.

Jian Hang was still holding onto Qin Moling. She had her eyes closed in the ‘kissing’ scene just now.

After the photo was taken, she opened her eyes and Qin Moling was looking at her.

Now that the photographer has called it a day, their hand holding and hugging for the day also ended. She and Qin Moling were about to return to reality.

She wanted to release her hold on him, but Qin Moling’s arm suddenly tightened around her waist, and his hot breath fell on her. He swooped in closer and put his lips against hers.
