An Rugu’s mind stirred slightly, and she raised her hands to form a hand seal, beginning to calculate the past and future of this destined person.

After a long while, she opened her eyes, stared at the smiling woman on the screen, and frowned.

Seeing her like this, the destined person felt a little worried for no reason and couldn’t help but ask, “How is it, master? Is it possible that I won’t be able to go to the same university as him?

Today, around lunchtime, her boyfriend took her to a restaurant and into a private room. Most of the people in the room were girls her age.

His elders had finished eating and gone out for a gathering, leaving a group of young people to eat.

She had something on her mind, so she simply smiled and greeted them without asking who they were.

Upon hearing this, An Rugu pondered for a while and said, “Why don’t you ask them who they are? That way you’ll understand your boyfriend better.”

They’re just relatives, what’s there to ask?

The destined person paused, then turned to look at the kind-faced woman who had just greeted her. “Sister, what’s your relationship with Chen Kai? How are you related to him?”

The woman next to her put down her chopsticks, swallowed what was in her mouth, and her eyes darted around. “I’m his paternal cousin.”

The destined person suddenly realized, “Oh, so he’s your cousin.”

Fearing she would be exposed, she had a flash of inspiration and turned the tables, seizing the initiative, “I didn’t see you at the family gathering during the Chinese New Year.”

The cousin smiled and said with a laugh, “Chen Kai’s family has too many people, I can’t remember them all. Besides, my family lives in the next city. We don’t come here often. Today is his birthday, so we made a special trip. We rarely visit each other.”

The destined person did not doubt her words.

She herself had several maternal cousins, and she didn’t know how many paternal cousins they had.

After all, being close to your maternal cousin didn’t necessarily mean you had a good relationship with his paternal relatives.

The destined person had spoken to the woman next to her without lowering her voice, so the people around her could hear them clearly.
