[MarriageFirstLoveLater] Chapter 41.1 — Serious Consideration

The sports car drove onto the main road, but there were too many cars on the road, and it couldn’t go very fast.

Jian Hang suddenly remembered that they had not yet looked through their wedding photos. When they went to the Qin family’s old house for dinner that day, her mother-in-law told her to choose from the photos when she and Qin Moling were not busy.

“Let’s just go back tonight and select our wedding photos. The photographer is waiting to retouch them.”

Instead of returning to the villa, Qin Moling turned left and drove towards the apartment.

There was a small conference room in the apartment which was fully equipped with computers and projectors.

So the two changed their date location from the streets to the apartment.

This was Jian Hang’s second time at the apartment, and it still felt strange and without any hint of homely feeling.

Qin Moling didn’t allow her to drink coffee, so he boiled some water for her. He also didn’t make any coffee for himself and just drank water with her.

Carrying two glasses of water, he took Jian Hang to the small conference room.

Even if no one lived here, the apartment was cleaned every day and the windows were spotless.

Qin Moling turned on the computer, downloaded the photos that his mother had zipped and sent to his email, and turned on the projector.

Jian Hang sat in the middle of the conference table at a suitable distance from the big screen.

There was a large floor-to-ceiling window in the conference room. The lights in the room were on, and the glass was reflecting light, so one couldn’t see the night view outside clearly.

Qin Moling clicked on the first photo, set it to play automatically, looked up, and said to Jian Hang, “Look at them all, no need to choose just one or two.”

Qin Moling said, “We can always put all the photos in the album.”

Jian Hang had no particular opinion on this. She liked the scenery of the small town anyway and didn’t mind having too many photos.

She and Qin Moling had all of their first times as a couple in that small, picturesque town—including when they first took wedding photos. Even if the photos turned out to be ordinary, she would naturally put filters on seeing them and think they looked good.

The video started playing on the big screen, and Qin Moling turned off the lights in the conference room.

He asked Jian Hang to stand in front of the screen and watch from there, “You’re sitting there, you look like you’re reading a work report. Come up here and see.”

She got up and went over.

Qin Moling put one hand in his pocket and drank water while watching the pictures play one by one.

Jian Hang walked up to him and leaned against the conference table.

The photos on the big screen had a one-to-one ratio with the real people. Standing in front of the photos, it felt like they were back on the trail in the town of Oia.

In this photo, the two were holding hands: she was looking at the sea, and Qin Moling was looking at her.

Jian Hang glanced at the person next to her. Qin Moling was concentrating on looking at the photos.

Looking at the photos flashing by, she recalled what happened throughout the day of the photo shoot.

She took a few sips of water and when she looked up again, the photo on the big screen changed to the small town bathed in sunset.

In the photo, she and Qin Moling were kissing.

End of playback.

Qin Moling put down the water cup and took out his cell phone to type something.

His hands moved quickly, and his expression was serious.

Jian Hang was just about to ask him if there was something going on at the company, but before she could ask, her own cell phone vibrated.

Qin Moling sent her a message with a string of numbers: [008, 022, 051, 064, 066, 102, 136]

Jian Hang couldn’t understand, “What’s this?”

Qin Moling replied, “Save them and send them to the photographer later. These photos don’t capture you well, so have them removed when preparing pictures for the album.”

Jian Hang: “…”

There were more than 100 photos, and he remembered the numbers of all the photos after he finished looking at them once. She knew he had a good memory, but in addition to having a good memory, he also had to look at the photos carefully.

From yesterday to today, Jian Hang had been immersed in Qin Moling’s serious consideration and surprising gentleness.

Even his occasional dominance was within her acceptable range.

If he had married another woman, he would also carefully choose their wedding photos and be as meticulous with his wife.

The more she thought about it, the more she wanted his unique love and wanted him to be good to her, not only because she was his wife, but also because he loved her.

Qin Moling put down his phone and drank water from the cup.

Jian Hang looked at him and said, “Give me a drink.” There was clearly water in her cup.

Qin Moling came over with the cup of water, fed her a mouthful, and after she swallowed it, he lowered his head and took her lips in a kiss.

Jian Hang also kissed him back and bit his lower lip gently.

There were no condoms in the apartment.

Qin Moling let her go, “I’ll go down and buy some.”

Now was not the time for them to have a child, and she probably didn’t want one for the time being.

Thinking of the child, he couldn’t imagine what Jian Hang would look like when she was pregnant.

From the time they got the marriage certificate to now, it was only at this moment that he realized that they would one day have a child, and that child would call her ‘mom’ and him ‘dad’.

Before this, having children was something very distant and unfamiliar to him.

He had never even thought about it.

When he reached the door of the conference room, Qin Moling paused and turned around, “Do you want to come down with me?”

The apartment was big, and he was worried that she would be scared alone.

Jian Hang had gotten used to living alone over the years, so she wasn’t afraid. “I’m okay, I’ll take a look at the night view.”

Qin Moling turned on the lights and told her to go to the small dining room. It had the best night view.

He left, and Jian Hang went to the bathroom and took a quick shower.

There was only men’s shower gel in the bathroom. She used a little, and her body began to smell like him.

After coming out of the bathroom, Jian Hang went to the small dining room.

There was a lot of traffic on the road downstairs.

Her shadow was reflected on the window glass, and if you looked closely, you could somewhat discern what she was wearing.

Jian Hang was standing by the window drying her hair with a towel when Qin Moling came back.

“So fast,” Jian Hang looked over.

Qin Moling’s eyes fell directly on her long, white legs.

Jian Hang had taken a shower and was barefoot, wearing only his T-shirt.

The T-shirt was just long enough to reach the top of her legs.

Qin Moling handed her the box of condoms, bent down, and picked her up sideways.

The Prussian blue T-shirt ended up on top of the conference table. Qin Moling sat her on it.

Jian Hang threw away the towel she had been using to dry her hair.

Qin Moling lowered his head, kissed her eyes, and then moved his kisses down, densely packed together, until finally landing on her flat belly.

It fell on her slender waist.

On the big screen, the photos started playing from the beginning again.

It was magnificent.

Jian Hang leaned back and supported herself on the conference table with her arms.

The items on the table was knocked askew.

When Jian Hang turned her head to look at the big screen: the azure waters seemed to flow out from the photo. The next second, the photo on the screen stopped again on the picture of them kissing.

“Jian Hang.”

She wasn’t looking at him so Qin Moling called her.

Jian Hang looked back at him, and he leaned over and kissed her deeply.

He thrust again, and it seemed as if layers of sea water rolled over them and swallowed her and Qin Moling together, making it difficult for them to breathe.

  1. She’s falling in love with him. If he doesn’t confess in time she’s gonna feel that she can’t stay in a one sided relationship.
