[MarriageFirstLoveLater] Chapter 40.3 — Breaking the Bottom Line

Qin Moling was never one to procrastinate. Once he said he would download the game, he really downloaded it immediately.

Once the download was complete, he handed the phone to Jian Hang, “Log in and write down the steps on how to collect the items. From now on, I will be online everyday at 8 o’clock in the evening to collect the items for you.”

Jian Hang: “…”

This man was treating the daily game check-in as a regular meeting.

She found a pen and paper, listed each step clearly, drew a simple diagram to illustrate, took a photo of the paper, and sent it to him.

Qin Moling logged into the game and followed the steps to familiarize himself with the process in advance.

He looked focused, his elbows resting on the table, working with both hands, and occasionally glancing at the steps she had written on the paper.

Jian Hang didn’t think that he would take her game so seriously.

It was hard for her to imagine how Qin Moling would spoil a woman if he liked her. He already indulged her in everything based solely on his marital responsibilities—how much more would he do for the person he held dear in his heart?

He would hold her in the palm of his hand and pamper her to the heavens.

She was also curious what he looked like when he liked someone.

In the past, she thought that it was okay to have no love in marriage because Qin Moling was already responsible, caring, and understanding enough.

But she was not so satisfied now. She wanted Qin Moling to love her.

Qin Moling had a good memory, and after operating it once, he already has an impression of it.

After exiting the game, he added an alarm for eight o’clock and gave it an appropriate name.

After setting the alarm, Qin Moling locked the screen, closed his laptop, and said to Jian Hang, “Go upstairs and change your clothes. Let’s go out for a bit.”

“Where are we going?”

“Anywhere you like.”

Qin Moling was afraid that she would be depressed because she uninstalled the game, so wanted to take her out for a while.

Jian Hang has never ridden in any of his limited edition sports cars before. Today was a good time to take her out in one.

Jian Hang went back to the bedroom with him. She hasn’t decided where to go yet. It was impossible for them to go to the bar again—even if they went there she couldn’t drink.

Apart from taking their wedding photos, this was their first serious date.

“I don’t know where to go. You decide.”

Qin Moling took out casual trousers and a T-shirt from the closet and asked her, “Do you want to go to a crowded place or a not-so-crowded place?”

He gave another choice, “If you want to have fun, we can go to the club.”

But she probably wouldn’t want to go as that would be like the occasions she attended when she needed to socialize.

“If you want some quiet time, I’ll drive you down the road and we can take the road that’s not congested.”

Jian Hang: “…”

He was as unromantic as her.

She turned around and was about to talk to him, but when she saw the scene laid out in front of her she suddenly forgot what she was going to say.

Qin Moling had taken off his shirt and was about to put on a T-shirt.

Jian Hang had only felt the smooth lines of his muscles in bed and had never looked closely at them under the light.

Those marks must have been left behind when she couldn’t stand it anymore.

She had bitten him, but in the heat of the moment she had no impression where, and now she could finally see the marks she left on his skin.

Qin Moling suddenly over looked at her, and Jian Hang reacted quickly, “Your T-shirt has a nice color.”

It was Prussian blue which was not uncommon; she just randomly complimented it for something to say.

Qin Moling didn’t hesitate and threw the T-shirt to her directly, “Here, take it.”

He opened the closet and took out another black T-shirt. He put that on instead.

The two T-shirts were of the same style but different colors.

It wasn’t the first time that Jian Hang wore his clothes. He generously gave her his T-shirt, and she really put it on.

The T-shirt was a little long for her, so Jian Hang tied a knot at her waist, then found some low-waisted jeans to pair with the T-shirt.

The snow-white skin around her waist peeked with every move she made.

Qin Moling looked at her a few more times then looked away and went downstairs with the car keys.

… …

When they arrived at the yard, Qin Moling pressed the car key and the car in the middle unlocked.

Jian Hang sat in the passenger seat, pulled out the seat belt, handed it to him, and asked him to help fasten it.

Qin Moling looked at her for a few seconds, took the seat belt but didn’t buckle it. He let it loose and instead held out his hand to her.

It took Jian Hang a few seconds to realize that he wanted her to sit on his lap.

As soon as she straddled him with her back against the steering wheel, Qin Moling held her waist and he used his hands to lift her up.

He lowered his head, avoided the knot she tied at her waist, and placed his lips on her exposed lower abdomen, kissing her there.

Jian felt as if an electric current ran through her abdomen.

Qin Moling let her go, and Jian Hang sat back in the passenger seat.

No one spoke.

It seemed that there was no need to talk.

The sports car started then drove out of the yard and into the night.
