[MarriageFirstLoveLater] Chapter 35.1 — Apology

Qin Moling was still in the company, and matters in the Fourth Division delayed him from getting off work on time.

It’s June. It’s the peak sales season for beverages, yet the sales of all Fourth Division products were only mediocre.

There was a conflict between their Marketing Department and Sales Department, and it has been growing over time. That afternoon, Zhou Yi, the Marketing Director of the Fourth Division, and Zheng Yanshu, the Sales Director, started to argue directly at the meeting.

No one else in the conference room dared to say anything, but Qin Moling was later informed of it.

Qin Moling talked to the two of them respectively and calmed down their anger.

Zhou Yi had background. His family was one of the shareholders of Lemeng. Zhou Yi was thirty years old this year, and his abilities were truly not bad, but in his lofty position as director of marketing, his current abilities were not enough to convince others.

Zheng Yanshu, 32 years old, was promoted to Sales Director last year. His personal ability and execution ability were obvious to all, but he has an arrogant personality and was difficult to manage.

Even Yu Ming, the former General Manager of the Fourth Division who had resigned, was a capable manager and yet he could do nothing with these two people.

After settling the conflict between the two, Qin Moling was finally ready to go home.

Zheng Yanshu walked to the door of the office, turned around and asked, “Mr. Qin, the GM of our Division has not yet been appointed?”

He knew that whoever this General Manager would be, it couldn’t be him, let alone Zhou Yi.

Qin Moling, “Not yet.”

Zheng Yanshu nodded, “Mr. Qin, you are busy.”

When he stepped outside Qin Moling’s office, he loosened his tie. In the past, even though he had disagreements with Zhou Yi, he would not have brought it to the table—but today he and Zhou Yi completely tore each other’s faces.

No matter who came in as General Manager of the Fourth Division, this mess would be difficult to clean up.

He encountered Secretary Gao in the corridor, and the two of them said ‘hello’ as they passed each other.

… …

Secretary Gao had heard about the fierce dispute between Zhou Yi and Zheng Yanshu earlier that afternoon. These two people were naturally incompatible with each other. They were about the same age and both quite handsome. They were always compared to each other by everyone.

Neither one wanted to bow their head to the other.

Secretary Gao has just received the watch sent over from the flagship store and came over to report to Qin Moling.

The watch was a birthday gift for Qin Xing. He robbed him of his game figure and now he would give him a watch to compensate. So even if, in the future, Qin Xing ever heard about the existence of that figure he never got, he wouldn’t blame him.

Qin Moling told Secretary Gao, “Send the watch to Jiang Shenghe’s office tomorrow.”

As for when Jiang Shenghe would give the watch to Qin Xing, that was Jiang Shenghe’s business.

In the villa, Jian Hang was unpacking her suitcase when Pang Linbin called.

He should already have seen her resignation letter. Jian Hang answered the call.

Pang Linbin’s tone was full of confusion, “I read your resignation letter. To be honest, I don’t want to approve it.”

As he said this, he smiled helplessly.

There was no banquet in the world that never ended, and he understood that capable people would only keep going to higher places.

Yinlin’s top management changed every year. He was used to it—but Jian Hang was different.

Jian Hang was his right-hand person who he trained himself. He has never worried about anything he left for Jian Hang to do. No matter how difficult things were, Jian Hang would overcome them and get things done to everyone’s satisfaction.

Jian Hang’s character was a bit similar to his. She would never admit defeat; you can only trample her to death if you have the ability. If you can’t trample her to death, she will stand up again.

He devoted more effort to cultivating Jian Hang than to raising his own son.

Of course, Jian Hang was indeed worthy of his cultivation, and over the years, she has repaid him several hundred times over with the benefits she brought.

Jian Hang didn’t owe him anything, nor did she owe Yinlin.

Jian Hang, like him, still had ambitions and would not be satisfied with the status quo.

“When I found out that you and Qin Moling were getting the marriage certificate, I had a hunch that Yinlin wouldn’t be able to keep you. I just didn’t expect it to happen so soon.”

He knew Jian Hang. With her temperament, she would not be willing to keep looking up at Qin Moling and the Qin family. Even if she could not look down on Qin Moling, she would at least strive to be on an equal footing with him.

And if she stayed in Yinlin, she would never have the chance to face Qin Moling as equals.

Jian Hang didn’t interrupt and listened quietly to Pang Linbin.

In fact, she had nothing to say. All she wanted to say was already written in the resignation letter.

Neither she nor Pang Linbin needed emotional scenes.

She had always been grateful to Pang Linbin. From being inexperienced in worldly affairs to sitting in the position of Managing Director of Yinlin’s country branch, she could not have done it without his cultivation and trust.

There were not many people that Pang Linbin brought out with his own hands. She was lucky to be one of them. It was because of this that the whispered scandals between her and Pang Linbin never abated in the company.

They only chatted a few words about resignation.

Pang Linbin said, “Your resignation has been approved. You will have to work hard for a few months before we find the right person to take over your job.”

Jian Hang secretly breathed a sigh of relief, but she was not entirely relieved that her resignation was approved. From her internship at the university to this year, she had been in Yinlin for nine years. How could she not have feelings of attachment to the company?

“It’s not hard, it’s as how I should be.”

Neither she nor Pang Linbin liked to be sloppy, so the call soon ended.

After hanging up the phone, Jian Hang recalled that Pang Linbin said that they wanted to find the right person to take over her job, which meant that they would not appoint people from the company’s current senior management but have plans to recruit people from outside.

As for who they will poach, it was no longer her concern.

T/N: A few chapters back, the replacement watch was already given to Qin Xing by Jiang Shenghe—Qin Xing called Qin Moling and complained about it. But this is what’s written in this chapter. The author probably forgot about it 😂
