[ILivestreamDivination] Chapter 72.4 — Their Date At The Ferris Wheel

The yin envoy said that the spell would only last for half an hour.

Half an hour later, he, a dead man, and she, a living woman, would be separated from each other forever, and they would not recognize each other if they should ever meet again.

Tut-tut-tut

The young couple excitedly walked to the foot of the Ferris wheel, came to the end of the line and started queuing.

The staff at the amusement park were very humane. Seeing that there were not many people at the back, they arranged a separate ‘carriage’ for them.

She smiled and winked at them, “I understand, I understand.”

“Sorry for the trouble.”

The two of them apologized quickly and looked very happy.

The staff looked at their backs and felt a little emotional.

The handsome man and beautiful woman together looked so pleasing to the eyes—they were a perfect match.

At this moment, a gust of cold wind blew in her face, and the staff shivered subconsciously.

The cold wind quickly swept towards the direction the couple went and did not linger for too long.

She rubbed the goose bumps on her arms and muttered, “Where did this cold wind come from? I’m about to freeze to death.”

An Rugu followed behind the two lovers and watched them enter the Ferris wheel. Her eyes flashed slightly; she stopped and did not follow them in.

Everyone in the livestream channel knew that her script called for her to capture  that man’s soul, and they all became anxious.

[From the male protagonist’s perspective, this script is too cruel. Can the host not be so cruel? Let them have a human-ghost romance.]

[I can tell you haven’t been watching the livestream seriously. The host just said that being with the dead can affect the living. The host’s character is a yin envoy, so how could she possibly watch ghosts harm living people?]

[The host’s script is very logical. Humans and ghosts have different paths. This short script was destined to be a BE1 script from the beginning.]

…. …

The Ferris wheel rotated slowly, and the carriage got higher and higher, gradually reaching mid-air.

The spell was running out of time.

Wei Haichen sat next to his girlfriend, and his heart slightly moved. He fumbled in his trouser pocket and grabbed the small red velvet box with his hand.

He pretended to turn his head casually and looked at the small box, still half-hidden in his pocket.

They had been classmates in junior high school, and he had liked her for a long time, but at that time, he was a little fat and not as outstanding as her.

It wasn’t until he was admitted to a university and somehow lost weight, that he finally mustered up the courage to confess his love to her.

He took this box from his pocket. Inside was not a diamond ring, but a bracelet, a gift for their first anniversary.

In fact, he really wanted to buy a diamond ring, but he was afraid of scaring her, so he didn’t say it so openly and planned to think about it carefully first.

But judging from the current situation, there was no chance for him to make long-term plans anymore.

He stroked the surface of the velvet box with his fingers and looked out the window. The spell’s time limit was almost up and the Ferris wheel was about to reach its apex.

Wei Haichen gritted his teeth, mustered up his courage, took out the red velvet box from his pocket, closed his eyes, and pushed it in front of his girlfriend. “This is my gift for you.”

The girlfriend was flattered and took it immediately.

Holding the box in her left hand, she opened it with her right hand, and an exquisite, beautiful, and sparkling bracelet came into view.

“Thank you.”

His girlfriend’s tears couldn’t stop flowing as if a floodgate had been opened, and tears as big as beans rolled down her face.

She raised her hand to wipe her cheek, looking at him with a smile, “I also prepared a gift for you, but it was lost and now I can’t find it. Please don’t be angry, okay?”

Wei Haichen raised the corners of his mouth, smiling brightly. He raised his finger, and poked her cheek. “Kiss me, and I will forgive you.”

His girlfriend burst into laughter and moved her face closer, her rosy lips about to touch his cheek.

At this moment, Wei Haichen quickly turned his head, and their soft lips touched.

His girlfriend’s eyes suddenly widened, and she leaned back as if she had been electrocuted. A blush appeared on her face, and she muttered to herself.

“Oh, you’re always teasing me!”

The two have known each other for a long time, but they were both very innocent. Up to now, they have only held hands and have only kissed a few times.

Wei Haichen asked for a kiss, smiled foolishly, then pointed outside and said, “Didn’t you notice that the Ferris wheel just reached the top? If lovers kiss at the top, they will be together forever.

“It’s you who said you wanted to come here, but you didn’t pay attention to the time and location of the Ferris wheel. That’s too much.

“Is it because the bracelet is so beautiful that it fascinated you too much?”

His girlfriend was startled for a moment, then raised her eyes and looked out the glass wall of the carriage.

The huge Ferris wheel was slowly spinning, and the two of them were high above the city, overlooking the beautiful night view of the amusement park.

She stared at the night view intently, and after a long while, she came to her senses and smiled brilliantly at Wei Haichen, her eyes sparkling, “Thank you, I love the bracelet and I love seeing this scenery too.”

Wei Haichen’s ears turned red, as if he had thought of something, and he said, “There’s another legend about the Ferris wheel. When it’s at the highest point, if you make a wish sincerely, the gods will hear your wish. What do you want to wish for?”

Wei Haichen thought his girlfriend would think about it for a long time, after all, she would take a minute to make a wish when she blew out her birthday candles.

Unexpectedly, his girlfriend said without hesitation, “I hope you will always be happy.”

Wei Haichen’s handsome face revealed a silly smile, “Haha, we think alike, I also hope that you will always be happy.”

  1. suddenly i have a terrible guess about the girlfriend and the unknown third victim from the aforementioned traffic pileup…

and if that truly is the case, then they’ve likely both been bamboozled by that fake yin envoy…

    the plot (possibly) thickens!
