After reaching the front gates of the villa, Cheng Liu got out of the car reluctantly, trying to think of a way to go inside Ji Chaozhou’s house. She had to make him fall in love with her.
It was taking her a while, and even when the car had already turned around and left, she was still standing there.
Cheng Liu took out her cell phone and used the search engine to look up reasons to go to her lover’s house. A variety of answers immediately popped up. She looked through it, trying to find a useful reason.
Ji Chaozhou turned his head slightly and glanced at the person standing under the street light. She was looking down at her mobile phone and had no intention of coming in.
After coming out of the exhibition, he saw her looking at her phone and he thought she was contacting Wang Hongyang.
She once liked Wang Hongyang—this has became more and more like a thorn in his heart, and it continued to grow bigger as time went by.
“Bang!“
The door of the villa was suddenly closed. Cheng Liu looked up when she heard the sound: Ji Chaozhou had already gone in.
Cheng Liu stared at the closed door. Ji Chaozhou has disappeared into the front courtyard but she hasn’t found a good excuse yet!
In the end, Young President Cheng could only return to Villa No. 6 with her head down.
She took off her shoes and stood in the living room, preparing to remove the black ribbon around her neck when she suddenly had an idea. She raised her hands and quickly tied a knot, then swaggered over to the villa next door to find Ji Chaozhou.
Cheng Liu pressed the doorbell, then opened the door with her fingerprint, rubbed her face, and controlled her expression.
When she walked into the living room, Ji Chaozhou was standing by the sofa. He had taken off his coat and tie, leaving only a white shirt on. A few buttons on the top of his collar were undone, revealing his collarbone.
He heard the noise and looked up at Cheng Liu in silence.
“I can’t untie the ribbon,” Cheng Liu pointed to the black ribbon around her neck, feeling guilty.
Ji Chaozhou sat on the sofa, then turned to Cheng Liu and said coldly, “Come here.”
Cheng Liu went over and sat next to him, tilting her head slightly to show her neck, and proceeded to lie with her eyes wide open, “I couldn’t untie it just now, be careful not to make it knot up.”
Ji Chaozhou lowered his eyes and looked at the knot on her neck. Earlier, he had been worried that she would be uncomfortable, so he tied the ribbon loosely. It would come loose with just a tug of her hand.
This was clearly a knot.
After Cheng Liu tied the knot, she intended for Ji Chaozhou to just cut the black ribbon with a pair of scissors, and then she would find an opportunity to talk to him. She was finally able go inside his house successfully, and she now has clear motivation to work hard.
Cheng Liu didn’t expect that Ji Chaozhou would be willing to take the time to help her solve the problem.
The two of them sat so close to each other on the sofa. No matter how confident Cheng Liu was normally, she suddenly didn’t dare to make a sound. She was afraid that if she turned her head to face Ji Chaozhou, he would be able to hear her rapid heartbeat.
A knot was easy to make but difficult to untie. Ji Chaozhou held one end of the ribbon with his fingertips. In order to see the knot surface clearly, he had to get closer to Cheng Liu.
The two were very close, and neither one made a sound.
Originally, his touches on her neck was slight, but as the living room became quieter and quieter, Cheng Liu felt that the feel of his touch on her skin got magnified several times over.
The most important thing was that when she lowered her gaze, she could see Ji Chaozhou’s clavicle vaguely visible through his open collar. The tip of the clavicle was slightly raised, with two clear depressions.
This silent temptation made Cheng Liu subconsciously turn her face away.
“Don’t move,” Ji Chaozhou pinched Cheng Liu’s chin. He was untying the knot and was holding the ends of the ribbon in his hands. If she moved, it would tighten around her neck.
“Oh,” Cheng Liu had no choice but to sit down quietly again. This time she learned to close her eyes and not look.
Otherwise she was worried she would get a nosebleed.
The touches on her neck made Cheng Liu aware that he was still working on untying the knot. She didn’t know if it was an illusion, but she felt that her heartbeat was getting louder and louder, and she could even hear it with her ears.
Ji Chaozhou took some time to untie the knot. Finally, when he tugged, the knot loosened. The person sitting beside him was frowning, her eyes closed, as if she disliked him being so close to her.
“It’s untied,” Ji Chaozhou whispered.
Cheng Liu was sitting there disturbed by the sound of her own heartbeat. She opened her eyes when she heard Ji Chaozhou’s voice.
Ji Chaozhou pulled one end of the black ribbon with his fingers, untying Cheng Liu’s ribbon.
As he moved, the black ribbon continued to unravel before his gaze until the last loop was untied.
Ji Chaozhou suddenly called out coldly, “Cheng Liu.”
Cheng Liu subconsciously looked up at him; she opened her mouth to say something, and Ji Chaozhou suddenly leaned over, closing the distance between them.
Instantly, she felt something warm and soft touching her lips.
Before Cheng Liu could figure it out, she felt a sudden sting in her lower lip. She opened her eyes wide in shock and said vaguely, “You bit me…”
Ji Chaozhou bit Cheng Liu’s lips in revenge, then felt a little regretful. He lessened the force and simply held her lip in his mouth instead. His thin, slender, white hands loosened the black ribbon, and the ribbon slowly slid from the sofa to the floor.
