[ILivestreamDivination] Chapter 30.3 — She Too Can Make Fated Matches

When he began kicking the door, the sound exploded in the quiet building and rang out in everyone’s ears. The lock finally snapped with the force and the door slammed open in response, hitting the table behind it, making another harsh, crashing noise.

When the man saw the table blocking the door, his eyes flashed with satisfaction. Things were just as he imagined: the woman was hiding at home—probably shivering in some corner.

He hesitated for a while, but when he thought of the gold, and a fierce light flashed in his eyes. He pushed the table away and walked into the house with the bloodied knife still in his hand.

He looked to his left and walked towards the small bedroom. He walked inside, quickly opened the lone cabinet, but there was no one there.

He thought for a moment, then lay down on the floor and looked under the bed—there was no one there.

He gritted his teeth, left the bedroom, and walked towards the bathroom. The small toilet could be taken in in one glance, and there was no one there either.

He searched the living room, balcony, kitchen, another bedroom, and even looked at the top of the cabinet—still no one.

Wandering around the small apartment like a headless fly, he walked back to the living room, scratching his head, feeling very puzzled.

Where was she? Where else could an adult person hide?

Obviously she had blocked the door with the table, so she must be in the house. And the house was small—from beginning to end, he didn’t see anyone slipping past him, nor did he hear anyone trying to leave.

At this moment, he changed his mind. No, blocking the door with something didn’t have to mean that the person was still inside the house.

After she blocked the door, she could have run away!

Realizing that he had been fooled, the man gritted his back teeth and immediately pulled open the door. He ran madly upstairs. He had just come from downstairs, so it was impossible for the woman to go downstairs because then she would have bumped into him—she could only hide upstairs.

When he thought that he had been so close to her only to be fooled by her, he felt truly angry.

She must die!

But when he ran upstairs, he saw no one. The moonlight shone in from the hole in the wall, and there was only dust floating in the air.

Damn, he was fooled again!

Just as he realized this, a siren sounded, becoming louder and louder as it neared, the sound ringing throughout the empty village-within-the-city.

… …

Blocking the door with something and then running out was an extremely simple, easily unraveled ruse, but it could still make the murderer believe that <Snowflake> was still in the house. He would still take time to search the house to find a possible hiding place.

This bought <Snowflake> much needed time to escape.

After the man broke into her house, she walked back downstairs barefoot and ran frantically until she reached the ground level, all the while keeping her steps light. When the murderer walked into her bedroom, she was already on her way down.

By the time the man realized she wasn’t there, she had already run out of the building.

She even forgot to put on her shoes and just ran like crazy towards the light, her pace getting faster and faster, running at a speed that she had never reached before.

In a supermarket outside the village-within-the-city, a woman with bare feet and messy hair suddenly rushed in, making the cashier tremble in fright.

The cashier looked at the blood stains on the woman’s feet and took a step back, a little scared, “Are you doing performance art here?”

Under the horrified gaze of the cashier, <Snowflake> burst into tears, crying and laughing, venting all her pent-up negative emotions, her heart filling with post-catastrophic ecstasy—just like a crazy woman.

Although only a short time had passed, she felt that she had lived her whole life in the last few minutes.

The cashier saw that she was wearing pajamas, but her skin was fair and she looked over-all quite respectable, so she asked worriedly, “What happened?”

“I’m fine. But can I stay with you for a while?”

Seeing her mood swing so much, the cashier couldn’t help but guess that the young woman had been subjected to domestic violence and showed sympathy, “It’s okay, just stay here. Were you beaten by your boyfriend and ran out because you couldn’t bear it anymore?”

<Snowflake> wiped her tears and said nothing more for fear of frightening the cashier.

What she met was not domestic violence but a real murderer.

<Snowflake> looked at the well-lit supermarket: she had never felt that this crowded supermarket could be so warm and friendly than she did now.

She found a small, hidden corner and squatted down, holding her mobile phone. Maybe because she was too nervous, she didn’t throw away her phone from beginning to end and kept clutching it tightly, but her wired earphones had long since fallen off her head when she ran.

She put on her shoes, put on her earphones, picked up her mobile phone, and finally realized that she was safe. She felt a sense of peace filling her mind at the moment, almost as if from an external source, and she said with a tearful voice, “Master, thank you for reminding me! I’m stupid, I can’t express in words how grateful I am to you—you saved my life.”

She thought of all those predestined people who other viewers called unlucky, and she felt bitter and happy at the same time. She was really an unlucky person, but luckily, she was the unlucky person who met the master.

Fortunately, An Rugu reminded her at just the right moment and she was able to buy precious time, allowing her to firm up her plan, block the door decisively, and run upstairs.

“By the way, thank you for helping me call the police!”

It was really thanks to the audience in the livestream channel. Otherwise, if she had to take time to call the police, the murderer would probably already have reached her, and she would have had no time to escape.

Seeing her successfully evade the murderer, the audience in the livestream channel finally relaxed and felt extremely proud at the same time.
