At eight o’clock, they returned to their villa.
Qin Moling drove. Jian Hang sat in the passenger seat—she had asked the driver to drive her car back.
The car was very quiet on the way over. Jian Hang was used to this kind of silence. She and Qin Moling spent most of their time together with nothing to say.
While waiting at the red light, Qin Moling put his elbow on the car window and looked at the taillights of the car in front of him, “Would you like to go to Grandpa Ye’s birthday next week?”
He waited for an answer.
Qin Moling turned his head and saw that Jian Hang was already asleep with her head tilted to one side. She had gone to bed at around two o’clock last night and got up at five o’clock in the morning to move to the villa.
He didn’t wake her. He closed the car window to block out all the noise on the road.
Jian Hang slept for more than half an hour and was woken up by a phone call.
She opened her eyes drowsily and looked out the window. The car had already driven into the villa area and they would be home soon. She suddenly remembered that she would live in the villa with Qin Moling from now on.
The phone was still ringing.
Jian Hang took out her mobile phone from her bag. The caller ID read: Pang Linbin.
It was morning at the boss’ side; it should be for the Wanyue Group project.
She sat up straight and answered the phone.
“Is it convenient to talk?”
“It’s convenient, I don’t have any social activities tonight, I’m at home.”
“Tell me about the Wanyue Group project in detail.”
Qin Moling parked the car, and he got out first without taking out the car key, leaving Jian Hang to lock the car.
… …
The call lasted thirty-one minutes.
After hanging up the phone, Jian Hang opened the car door and got out, locked the car and entered the house.
Aunt Geng was already in her room. There was no one in the living room, so she went directly to the second bedroom on the second floor.
Jian Hang pushed the door open. She took one step inside and saw the person on the bed, casually sitting up against the headboard. Jian Hang was completely stunned.
Qin Moling had obviously just taken a shower, his hair was only half dry, and he was actually lying on her bed.
After calming her heart down, Jian Hang stepped into the bedroom.
Qin Moling was also stunned for a moment when he saw her coming in.
This morning, he asked Aunt Geng to move Jian Hang’s luggage to the master bedroom but forgot to tell her personally.
He didn’t remember it until they got home.
Jian Hang had been on the phone in the car. He didn’t know when the conversation would be over, so he sent her a message and told her that her luggage was in the master bedroom and he would be staying in the second bedroom.
The second floor used to be his own sole domain, and he didn’t have the habit of locking the door.
So, what did she want to happen when she entered his bedroom and closed the door again?
He knew that she had an arrogant temperament and was unlikely to take the initiative to show kindness, especially for this kind of thing.
What Jian Hang was thinking at the moment was that since he took the initiative to go to her bed, she should just be responsible for him.
Anyway, they have to sleep together sooner or later.
Although Jian Hang thought so in her head, her heart was still not prepared—but her reason told her that she could not lose in terms of momentum.
She took off her coat and threw it on the end of the bed.
Ignoring the complicated look in Qin Moling’s eyes, she walked to the cloakroom.
The second bedroom was also a suite with a walk-in closet, private bathroom, and terrace.
Apart from being smaller than the master bedroom, the functions were similar.
Qin Moling felt that things were not going the right way and suddenly thought of a possibility: perhaps she had not seen his message. “Jian Hang, what are you doing?”
Jian Hang turned around. This man asked her questions already knowing the answer. She didn’t ask him why he was lying on her bed, but he still asked her this deliberately.
She pretended to be calm and even more calm, “Going to get some clothes and take a shower.”
Qin Moling: “…”
She really hasn’t seen his text yet.
“Your suitcases are in your master bedroom which has its own bathroom.”
Jian Hang was a little confused. What did he mean by ‘her’ master bedroom?
Qin Moling saw that she was confused and explained, “You’re staying in the master bedroom. Look at your phone. I sent you a message. I made it very clear.”
Jian Hang had too many work groups, and each group was full of unread messages. She didn’t pin Qin Moling on top, so she didn’t see his text.
The atmosphere was too awkward.
She walked to the end of the bed with quick steps, grabbed her coat and left. By habit, she instinctively turned off the lights when she left the room and then silently closed the door.
Just after closing the door, Jian Hang realized that she had turned off the light in his room in a panic, so she opened the door a crack and reached in with a hand to turn on the light for him.
Jian Hang patted around the wall for the light switch before finding it. This delayed her hand for a second. Qin Moling had already pressed another switch by the bedside and the light had already turned on. Then a beat later, Jian Hang touched the switch on the wall. It was too late to take it back. She could only watch as the light in the bedroom that had just turned on—turn off again.
Qin Moling: “…”
She turned the lights off in his bedroom twice in a row. Qin Moling thought she was angry and was having a temper, so he subconsciously chose to indulge her and didn’t turn the lights on again.

T/N: This was so embarrassing haha but I love Jian Hang’s ‘he’s in my bed, fine, I’ll just take responsibility for him.’ Like adopting a big dog 😂
