[MarriageFirstLoveLater] Chapter 19.1 — Buy Her Midnight Snack

Having a bit of coffee was better than nothing, Jian Hang comforted himself.

Qin Moling said he would make coffee for her after she was discharged from the hospital, but she didn’t take it too seriously.

Jian Hang didn’t plan to go back to sleep, so she got up to wash before drinking her coffee.

She left the bathroom door ajar, and Qin Moling could clearly hear the sound of her washing her face and brushing her teeth. He looked at the coffee cup on the bedside table again—after she finished washing, the small amount of coffee at the bottom of the cup would have already cooled down. Cold coffee didn’t taste good.

Qin Moling hadn’t drunk the coffee in his cup yet, so he stood up and poured her half a cup from it.

Jian Hang came out of the bathroom and saw that there was more coffee in the cup, “Thank you—”

Qin Moling anticipated what she was going to say and interrupted first, “You’re welcome. But I’m not giving you the entire half a cup to drink. Just take a few sips to enjoy.”

Jian Hang didn’t understand. He poured her more coffee only because he was worried that the coffee in her cup would get cold and taste bad.

After taking a few sips of coffee, Jian Hang climbed up to the hospital bed and leaned back to look at her phone.

Next to her was the large bouquet of flowers, its light fragrance floating around her quietly.

She tilted her head and looked at the pink roses for a long time.

She had asked Aunt Geng to take the bouquet of flowers that Tan Feng brought her to the villa. As for this bouquet that Qin Moling bought, she planned to take it back to her apartment to put in a vase.

“Aren’t you jet-lagged?” Jian Hang asked with concern.

Qin Moling was drinking coffee; he gestured to his laptop with the porcelain cup, “The overseas business department is waiting for my reply.”

Jian Hang nodded and stopped disturbing him.

She logged into the game.

Wanyue Group’s project was a done deal, and there was someone accompanying her in the ward. She was finally in the mood to play games.

As soon as she went online, Lin Xiao sent a message: [Little Olive! Do you still remember that you have this account?]

There were dozens of unopened messages before her. It seemed he never missed a day during the time she was in retreat.

He kept asking her if she had a secondary account.

Jian Hang: [What time is it that you’re still not sleeping?]

Lin Xiao had worked overtime for more than ten days and finally had time to go out and have fun with Qin Xing. He just got home from playing outside and was so excited that he couldn’t sleep. He planned to play a game before going to bed, but he didn’t expect Little Olive to go online.

He started talking nonsense: [I am so angry that I can’t sleep!]

Lin Xiao reacted some more: [You are asking me, but why are you awake in the middle of the night? You say you need time to study in seclusion, I think you are just studying using a secondary account!]

Jian Hang: [I am studying abroad and just finished today’s training.]

Lin Xiao was doubtful but felt that there was no need for Little Olive to lie to him. If she really wanted to open a secondary account and never talk to him or Qin Xing again, he wouldn’t be able to do anything about it.

[Do you have half an hour, let’s play a game?]

He invited Qin Xing, and Qin Xing stared at the notification in confusion. When he heard that Little Olive was online, he suddenly didn’t feel sleepy anymore and got up from the bed.

Jian Hang did not spoil their fun and played with them.

Half an hour later, the ward was unusually quiet.

Qin Moling looked up from the laptop screen and saw Jian Hang wearing headphones, frowning, holding her mobile phone with both hands. Her thumbs kept moving, and the mobile phone screen was horizontal.

Jian Hang didn’t know what was going on with her—she suddenly felt dizzy and a little nauseous after staring at the screen for a long time.

She failed to do well in this game and was killed early.

Lin Xiao was eliminated earlier than Jian Hang but he was still online and was watching the game. Seeing Jian Hang die so casually, he became furious, “Little Olive, what are you doing? Have you really become so careless in playing games?”

He had been waiting for her to come out of isolation for more than a month, but now she was fooling around like this?

Jian Hang had a headache from Lin Xiao’s complaints.

Feeling that someone was looking at her, Jian Hang turned her face and met Qin Moling’s dark eyes straight on.

She didn’t even know how long Qin Moling had been standing beside the bed.

He asked, “In a meeting?”

Jian Hang: “…”

This was called taking real damage.

He had clearly seen the game screen and came to ridicule her.

But he probably didn’t see her game ID because she turned her phone away.

“Do you play often?”

“When I’m not busy or too tired.”

“What’s your rank?”

Jian Hang told the truth.

Qin Moling could see at first glance that this was the highest level. This was not a level that could be achieved by playing one or two games occasionally. Qin Xing was also obsessed with games. In his opinion, playing games was a waste of one’s time.

Now that he knew that Jian Hang also played, he changed his mind about the game.

But it was only a slight improvement.

It was not impossible to play two games occasionally as a pastime. But at her level, he didn’t know how much time she had to spend every day on it.

Qin Moling looked at her and suddenly had a realization, “Are you ‘Little Olive’?”

His eyes were cold and sharp, seeming to confirm her game ID.

He was so sharp, and Jian Hang knew very well that she couldn’t hide it, “Yeah. Qin Xing and Lin Xiao don’t know it’s me.”

She was planning to ask him to keep it secret and not tell those two people.

Qin Moling said thoughtfully, “Don’t let others know that you play games. You will lose your image and make it difficult to manage Lin Xiao. You fainted and were hospitalized, they would only think that you are not doing your job and playing games all night long.”

After a pause, “If you want to play, do so secretly.”

“…” Jian Hang choked.
